Scarlett Moffatt’s boyfriend Lee is apparently unhappy with her “changing” her looks and a source claims that he doesn’t want to her to follow in the footsteps of Katie Price, previously known as Jordan, 39, who is widely known for having surgical procedures.
The 26-year-old TV star, who co-presents Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway alongside the duo, has previously admitted to having veneers and lip fillers, which she claimed were “addictive”, but hasn’t admitted to any other surgery.
A source said: “Lee is totally against Scarlett changing herself.
“He’s begged her, ‘Don’t do a Jordan and start destroying your face, you’re perfect the way you are.’”
Scarlett’s lover apparently wants to show the brunette that she is “already perfect” without undergoing surgery.
“Lee is insisting he won’t let her get more surgery as long as they’re together. He’s trying to do everything he can to show her that she’s already perfect,” the insider told Reveal magazine.
The insider also claimed that Scarlett is her “biggest critic” when it comes to her body image.
“She’s her own biggest critic and has confided in friends that she’s not happy with her weight, her lips or her overall look,” they added.
Scarlett Moffatt recently admitted that she felt “miserable” following her drastic weight loss after competing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2016, which she went on to win.
Speaking at a confidence masterclass at the Glamour Beauty Festival in London last week, she said: “When I first came out of the jungle I went through a stage where I felt like I had to try and look a certain way,” she added: “I wanted to try and get out of the stereotypical Geordie girl.
“I stopped wearing fake tan and wore WAG dresses,” she continued.
“But I was really miserable, I like being orange and having eyelashes that go up to my forehead.”
Scarlett’s co-star Ant McPartlin, 42, recently made a revelation about when it all went wrong for the former Gogglebox star on their ITV show.
Recalling an embarrassing blunder which happened on the last series, he told the Mail Online: “Scarlett knocked on a house, live, and we knew the people would be watching the show because they are fans.
“But they were watching it on catch-up so they didn’t go outside.
“Scarlett didn’t get to go on site, the dog was barking, the door was locked, it all got a bit uneasy for a while,” he explained.
A representative for Scarlett Moffatt denied to comment to Express.co.uk.
Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway continues on Saturday at 7pm on ITV.
