Overwatch developer Blizzard might have found its next new map.
With the Blizzard World theme park map’s release date potentially just a few days away, the company has expressed an interest in another new map.
Overwatch fan Joshua Llorente recently posted a video of a map he designed using Unreal Engine 4.
Set in Cairo, the impressive Payload map really does look like something you’d find in Overwatch.
It’s so good that Overwatch director Jeff Kaplan commented on a Reddit post dedicated to the fan-made map.
“Amazing work!” Kaplan said. “We’ll be in touch.”

In the meantime, Overwatch’s Blizzard World Map is about to be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
According to game director Jeff Kaplan, the brand new Overwatch map will be released “very early this year”.
“We’re glad that you all are so excited for Blizzard World. The map is almost ready for release but not quite there yet,” Kaplan told fans.
“It won’t be out this week but we are committed to releasing it very early this year!”
While Kaplan didn’t provide an exact release date, his comments suggest it could arrive as early as next week.

The Blizzard World Map is a brand new hybrid map that supports Assault and Escort game modes.
The theme park-style map pays homage to multiple Blizzard franchises, including StarCraft, Warcraft and Diablo.
“An amusement park celebrating the universes of Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo, Blizzard World is a brand-new hybrid Assault/Escort map,” Blizzard explains.
“Charge the gates of Stormwind, sneak through the Nexus Experience, and guide the payload through areas filled with high ground, flanking routes, and environmental hazards.
“Grab some Blizzard-inspired snacks at the concession stand along the way!”
